The first of its kind in Kuwait, the Mina Abdallah Eco-Industrial Park aims to develop a 550,000 sqm land into an integrated eco-industrial park with sustainable production and manufacturing facilities that cater to the needs of the oil and gas, infrastructure and construction sectors from metals processing and plastics conversion to industrial fabrication.
All production and manufacturing units located within the park will be served by central support infrastructure through onsite storage facilities, a centralized maintenance workshop, an integrated labor camp and communal facilities for the various units.
With sustainability at the foundation of the park, it will ensure that all industrial by-products and waste streams are handled, treated and managed on site through a central industrial waste treatment facility. The park also incorporates the use of renewable energy, and aims to maximize energy efficiency through the utilization of closed loop waste-to-energy systems wherever possible.
