MRC develops a new Plastic Recycling Plant

The Metal and Recycling Company (MRC) has announced the start of it’s newly developed Plastic Recycling Plant. This step comes after the increase in the amount of Plastic being generated from the Kuwaiti society. The project was part of MRC’s long term strategic plan to develop the company’s infrastructure along with the company’s Businesses. This was after a feasibility study that showed the ability of the project to generate profits.
 
MRC’s new Plastic Recycling Plant uses a unique combination of mechanical and optical sorting systems and has been designed to operate with very high levels of automation and efficiency making it the most advanced plant in the Kuwait with many benefits, such as:

  • Higher production capacity, up to 12ton/day.
  • Lower cost of production.
  • Cleaner Output Material.
  • Higher Operational Capacity.
  • Higher Quality of output material.
  • Eliminated dust emissions.
  • Capable in processing wide range of feed-stock.
  • Decrease the number of labor by 33%.

The expansion of the plant was supported by the Environment Public Authority (EPA) since MRC is an ISO 14001 certified and with the help of Kuwait’s Public Authority for Industry.
